Mi fà piacere che confermi che si entra SOLO ED ESLUSIVAMENTE
con guida, la Libia al momento VIETA qualsiasi libera forma di circolazione e di TRANSITO per persone interessate al turismo. Se voglio andare con guida micerco sul catalogo di Kel 12 quello che i interessa. Ti allego la fonte delle mie informazioni. Pultroppo la persona che cito ha poca dimestichezza con il computer dato che passa circa sei mesi all'anno in africa. On Tuesday, 28.8.2001 I went to the Libyan embassy in Vienna/Austria in order to obtain my visa. The people there told me very definitely that I will not get the visa! Two weeks earlier I visited the Libyan embassy in Vienna presenting them all the paperwork required for issue of visa: 4 persons in two 4WD cars, invitation from Libyan tour operator (Shati Zuara), valid passport without visa from Israel. They checked all the papers and said: It is all ok, you WILL get the visa, but come again in two weeks.So, two weeks later we came again, just being told, that we will NOT get the visa. There are other persons and groups in Vienna who also were not issued tourist visa! We were told that no private car is authorized to cross the border to Libya. Even transit to Egypt is forbidden. Information from Austrian embassy in Tripoli yesterday did NOT confirm that new regulations forbid entry of private vehicles into Libya. So nobody knows what is going on really. The man in the embassy said that private visites with private cars are not allowed in order to support business of Libyan tour operators! Yesterday I phoned a well-known visa service company in Bonn (Visum-Centrale) to learn about the situation at the Libyan embassy in Bonn. They confirmed that the Libyans there also do not longer issue visa to groups consisting of 4 or less people. 5 people or more are ok but they need official authorisation by Libyan ministry (immigration authority) which give you a so-called 'reference number'.
