saluti a tutti: ho appena ordinato da amazon un manuale d'officina per il 4 Runner (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0958727880/026-8260715-4969253): ma poi mi è preso qualche dubbio che il librone non copra anche il mio 4Runner 3.0TD (1995).

Mi sembra che dovresti stare tranquillo. Il tuo dovrebbe infatti essere un 4-Runner Diesel 3L.

sì, pensavo anche io così, poi ho trovato un altro manuale Haynes la cui descrizione recita così:
Toyota Hi-Lux & 4Runner Series LN, 2WD & 4WD, with diesel engines: 2.2L, 2.4L & 2.8L (L, 2L & 3L engines).
da questo sembrerebbe che 3L non sta per 3.000, ma è la sigla di un motore 2.8, d'altra parte la sigla del 3.0TD è 1-KZT e questa non la riporta da nessuna parte.
che dire?

non ho resistito ed ho comunque ordinato ambedue, libro e estensione sul motore.
a chi interessa, mi scriva tra 3 settimane e gli dirò com'e'!

The difference between the 2 manuals is one covers the diesel models and the other covers the petrol models. As yours is a diesel model the manual you would require is EP.TH4D.
Our manual does not actually cover the 1KZ engine however we we can supply a to cover the engine for an additional AU$10.00
